  1. Website – the cybermates.kaspersky.com web portal.

  2. User (you) – an individual that uses the Website.

  3. Kaspersky Lab – AO Kaspersky Lab.

  4. Content – data, texts, files, information, user names, images, graphics, photographs, applications, links and other materials uploaded to the Website by the User.

  5. Website Administrator – a representative of Kaspersky Lab who administers the Website.

Your use of the Website means your unconditional agreement of these Terms of Use, and also means that you accept these Terms of Use. Kaspersky Lab reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time and at its own discretion without prior notification, and to modify the Website or any functionality thereof. Your continued use of the Website after such amendments means your acceptance of them. If you do not agree with all the Terms of Use of the Website, you must not use the Website.

To use the Website, you must register on the Website.

Intellectual property rights

Kaspersky Lab owns all rights to the Website, including exclusive rights and any other applicable rights. Kaspersky Lab has all necessary rights, including intellectual property rights and licenses for materials and information published on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, photo, video and audio materials, as well as computer programs regardless of their type, except for the Content.

This agreement does not give you any rights to use objects of intellectual property, including trademarks and service marks of Kaspersky Lab, except for the rights transferred to you by Kaspersky Lab.

General terms and conditions

  1. Kaspersky Lab grants you the right to use the Website free of charge and to view its contents, provided that you comply with all restrictions and Terms of Use of the Website.

  2. To gain access to advanced features of the Website, in particular the publication of Content (see below), you must sign in using an account on the Website or an account linked to one of the supported social media networks. Kaspersky Lab’s rules for processing information that you provide when registering an account or signing into the Website are described in the Privacy Statement.

  3. The Website provides 3 levels of user participation, which are issued by the Website Administrator in accordance with the skills confirmed by the User during registration. Depending on the level of participation, the registered User receives access to various forms of participation in the CyberMates project, namely, access to assignments, a Personal Account, the Store section, discussions on public assignments posted on the Website.

  4. The User can select a task to perform on the Website, while the Website Administrator has the right to confirm or reject implementation of the task by the User. In the case of confirmation, the User agrees to perform the task within the time specified in the task description. If the User does not comply with the task deadline, the Website Administrator has the right to temporarily block or delete the account of the User.

  5. If the task is completed within the specified time, the Website Administrator will award the User the bonus points specified in the task description. If the task is not completed in full, the Website Administrator has the right to award some of the bonus points specified in the task description.

  6. The User has the right to exchange bonus points for gifts offered in the Store section. The User has the right to independently determine the type and number of gifts, the total value of which does not exceed the number of bonus points available to the User. To do so, the User must apply for a gift on the Website within 10 working days from the beginning of each quarter.

  7. In the event of a violation of these Terms of Use by the User, the Website Administrator has the right to temporarily block or delete the User's account on the Website, or deprive the User of bonus points.

  8. By publishing any Content on the Website, the User automatically grants Kaspersky Lab a free, permanent, irrevocable, non-exclusive right (non-exclusive license) in the territories of all countries of the world for the entire period of copyright protection stipulated by Russian Federation legislation in relation to such Content, with the right to sublicense third parties, to use the Content in the following ways:

  1. reproduction of the Content, i.e., production of one or more copies of the Content or its part in any material form, including audio or video recording, the production in three dimensions of one or more samples of two-dimensional work, and in two dimensions of one or more samples of three-dimensional work;

  2. distribution of the Content via sale or other alienation of the original or its copies;

  3. public display of the Content, i.e., any demonstration of the original or a copy of the work either directly on the screen with the help of a film, a slide, a television image or other technical means, as well as demonstration of individual frames of an audiovisual work without observing their exact sequence or with the help of technical means;

  4. import of the original or the copies of the Content for distribution purposes;

  5. translation of Content into another language or other processing of Content;

  1. No additional formalities, including written, are required to confirm the granting of rights to Kaspersky Lab by the User.

  2. You are responsible for any actions performed on the Website related to the use of your account.

  3. You are responsible for Content that you upload or publish on the Website.

  4. When uploading any Content to the Website, you acknowledge and confirm that you are the legal owner of such Content or have all necessary licenses and permits, and are not in violation of any third-party rights. When uploading Content, you must comply with all international and local laws, including but not limited to intellectual property law, personal data, and the placing of information online.

  5. Kaspersky Lab has the right to delete, edit, block, and/or monitor Content or accounts containing Content that violate these Terms of Use.

  6. It is forbidden to transfer to third parties account information that is the confidential information of Kaspersky Lab. The User is fully responsible for all the damage caused to Kaspersky Lab, the Website or third parties arising as a result of intentional or unintentional transfer of account information to third parties by the User.

  7. When creating account information, the User must state a valid name, position, email and other data specified in the Privacy Statement; otherwise, the Website Administrator has the right to reject the creation of the account or at any time to block or delete it.

Limitations and restrictions

Users of the Website may not:

  1. Use the Website when Content for the Website is being prepared and delivered automatically via special devices, applications, or software scripts without the participation and control of a human operator.

  2. Add to the Website intentionally false Content or Content offending, defaming, or discrediting the honor, dignity, or business reputation of third parties, containing personal data of third parties, hostile statements, threats, pornography, images of the naked body, or violence, or perceived as extremely unpleasant in nature. Kaspersky Lab reserves the right not to publish any materials or information that you submit for publication on the Website if such materials and information violate these Terms of Use.

  3. Test the Website for vulnerabilities or perform any actions that might disable, overload, or adversely impact the normal operation of the Website, for example, attacks leading to denial of service or page loading errors.

  4. Post unauthorized commercial messages.

Limitation of liability

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources. Kaspersky Lab provides such links only for your convenience and is not responsible for content or resources that they provide or make available, or for links to products or services.


Applicable law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation.
